4th of July, Jakie style

No fireworks, but a parade, a cookout and general hamming it up! Oh, and no nap, either. The 4th of July parade has left a lasting impression--everything has become a drummable instrument. Yesterday, we took a quick trip to the pool after work/daycare and a 20-minute drum solo kept me and some other parents at the edge of the pool quite entertained. The drumstick was some kind of stick used to teach kids to dive underwater and the drum was the metal handlebars going down the pool steps or the pool noodle floaty things (they are actually a good drum stand in!).
