Is this how Houdini started?

This morning Col had an early dr's appointment. Jacob was up in his crib at about 7:30, and I was downstairs pouring milk to take up to him. All of a sudden, I heard feet scampering across the ceiling. I quickly heated the milk in the microwave, and then got the milk out and headed out of the kitchen to run upstairs to see what was going on. I got to the living room and found Jacob wandering around the room, inspecting his toys and holding his big blanket and mouse toy from his crib. He apparently was able to maneuver out of his crib and lower himself to the floor without making a thud. When we got to day care, he said to Pati: "I climbed out of my cribby!"

We will be converting the crib to a bed right away.

Jayjoe's mom says:

Jayjoe's daddy called me at work today if I had let Jacob out of the crib and left him upstairs when I left for my doctor's appointment. Uh, no!!!!

I had forgotten to warn Daddy that last Saturday, after putting a petulant Jacob in his crib "to cool off," no sooner did I get into my room then the little guy came marching into our bedroom! Mr. Abs of steel can hoist himself out of the crib and can hang on to the bars and lower himself to the floor--silently. Let the games begin!
